Trattoria dal Monaco - Siamo a Polignano, a pochi passi dalla statua del grande Domenico Modugno forgiata con le braccia spalancate, allo stesso modo in cui si è accolti nella nostra trattoria, gestita da Vito Guglielmi, paffuto e simpaticissimo cuoco autoctono, da sempre vocato alle “note” gastronomiche. Alla Trattoria Dal Monaco gusterai prelibate specialità di pesce preparate con semplicità come da tradizionale cucina casereccia. We are in Polignano, a few steps from the statue of the great Domenico Modugno, forged with his arms wide open, in the same way that one is welcomed in our restaurant, managed by Vito Guglielmi, chubby and very nice indigenous chef, who has always been dedicated to gastronomic “notes” . The history of our restaurant is the history of our family. It all began with Vito, aka Tuccino, who at the end of the 1960s decided to cook in his wooden shack with reed mats where he sold mussels and seafood. Today Pasquale Centrone is the soul of the Da Tuccino restaurant. In his eyes, cheerful and indomitable, there are the eyes of his father Tuccino and his mother Tonetta. A lover of absolute excellence, he personally chooses the fish every morning. La Veranda di Giselda - Nasciamo nel 1919 grazie a nonno Giovanni detto “u’ candnir” come ritrovo serale di marinai e contadini. Ben quattro generazioni della famiglia si sono avvicendate nel nome dell’ospitalità sino ad arrivare alla trattoria di mare che oggi conosciamo.
